Breaking the UK musical market coming from another country is a tough ask. No Asian artists have been able to succeed at this so far although some have got close. Leslie Loh made the top of the Music Week charts with a track, Boom Bang Bang in August 2003 produced by [Stevie] Eagle E and Doc B. That was the first and only Chinese artist to make the top of any chart in the West and since then no has come close. Head of Shlepp Entertainment Stevie Eagle E has confirmed that he will be working on a musical project with Norwegian singing star Beate Jacobsen this year. Stevie Eagle E and Beate Jacobsen met for the first time at the G Salvatore Showcase event in the UK and the two immediately hit it off.
Birmingham UK poised for one of it’s biggest nights of the year as the Inspiration Awards hits town on a night of inspiration and celebration.

These types of events need to be thought out and brought to life by Mavericks not tied down to the same rules as everyone else (Commerical constraints and TV schedules). That is the only way something a little different can be done and that is the way the Birmingham Inspiration Awards has come about.
