Shooting At Fred Meyer Supermarket In Washington, One Person Wounded

Police in Richland, Washington, are responding to an active shooter at a Fred Meyer supermarket, where at least one person was reportedly wounded.

The Richland Police Department is searching for the gunman, described as a white man driving a white pickup truck.

The masked suspect, seen in surveillance video screenshots pushing a shopping cart inside the grocery, is said to be ‘armed and dangerous.’

The incident took place at around 11:15 am Pacific Time at the supermarket on Wellsian Way in Richland, located about 200 miles southeast of Seattle.

The Kennewick Police Department released photos of the suspect believed to be connected to the reported shooting Monday at a Fred Meyer store in Richland, Washington.

The department described the suspect as “armed and dangerous” and advised residents to avoid the area because of police activity.
