It was little surprise to many at the Birmingham Inspiration Awards at the ICC when Kerry Elliman won most charitable business along with three other awards. Kerry Elliman is well known throughout Birmingham for her tireless work at Greyhound Protection. We share the full story behind Kerry and all the other news concerning the Birmingham Inspiration Awards and Top UK Model finals.

Actress Pauline Mclynn was on hand to pick up awards for Kerry as she just kept on winning and also spoke passionately on her behalf.

Pauline McLynn is a big supporter of Kerry and Greyhound protection. She spoke passionately on the night in support of Greyhound protection.

The Birmingham Inspiration Awards had many winners on the night but Kerry Elliman was by far the biggest winner scooping 4 awards. Stevie Eagle E from Shlepp Entertainment [part of the Birmingham Inspiration team] said ‘When someone wins that many awards you know they are doing something right.’

Inspirational Awards were not the only thing won on the night with Top UK Model finals 2017 being held on the same night.

The event also so several stars and entertainers on stage including a brand new collaboration between awarding winning rising sensation Stephan Dante and Bhangra star Tubsy. The duo performed live and un-rehearsed for the first time together as they put together a new form of music fusing Soul and Bhangra called B-Soul.

Royalty also graced the event with Prince Bayo. Prince Bayo was not only the event ambassador but also performed on the night. Other artists who performed on the night include Nader, Teyo and Mac and Sam.

Birmingham Inspiration Awards was supported by many businesses and local figures. Head of the Urban Music Awards Jordan Kensington praised the awards for its originality and vision.

Tv presenter, actor and producer Aaron Wiggins was in the house. Made in Birmingham TV had covered events leading up to the show and were in effect on the night of the show as well other media and radio stations.

The Birmingham Inspiration Awards was an eclectic event with a broad range of artists, models, designers and awards. Young dance troupe Rhythm Junkiez performed on the night and brought the house down with their routine.

Celebrities like Tyne-Lexy Clarson from Love Island came to support the people and community of Birmingham at the Birmingham Inspiration Awards.

Top designers like G Salvatore Fashion UK showcased their collections in the Top UK Model Finals 2017 along with designer such as Doll’s of Decadence , 1st Man 1st Woman, HME Creations, Kashane Swaby, Simonetta Saboo and Stand out with me.

The night was held together by Presenter and Beauty Queen Raven Dixon Biggs and Singer and performer Manni. Top UK Model 2017 Director Bee Furey shone on the night as she saw the contestants she had nursed for months come to fruition at the event final.

The event ended with Both Mr and Miss Top UK model being crowned.
