One World: Together At Home brings together an unprecedented line-up of musical guests and celebrities for “a moment of global unity” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The concert dreamt up by Lady Gaga with Global Citizen, boasts an amazingly talented roster of stars which, as of Tuesday, April 14 2020, includes Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Ellen DeGeneres, Celine Dion, Oprah Winfrey, Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, and Victoria Beckham.

Announcing the Coronavirus concert last week, Gaga said she wants “to highlight this global, kind community that’s coming together right now”.

Continuing she said: “It’s this valiant effort that we’re all witnessing in the medical community… take a second to marvel at the bravery,” she told late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

“I also want to highlight that this isn’t just a historical moment, but there’s a cultural moment that’s occurring as well — and it’s a kind one. The third thing on my list for this special is to celebrate the courage of the human spirit.”

Lady Gaga and Global Citizen had previously announced that the One World: Together At Home line-up will feature a galaxy of singers, actors, and entertainers.

Billie Eilish, Elton John, Lizzo and Stevie Wonder are among those who will be performing, with the cast of Sesame Street also set for a special appearance.

The benefit concert will be hosted by late-night stalwarts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert.

“We have raised the money ahead of time and we’re going to continue fundraising before the show,” Gaga told Stephen Colbert.

“So when you guys introduce the whole special, you can tell everyone to put your wallets away, put your money away because we don’t need it — we raised the money already!”

Already Gaga and Global Citizen have raised $35 million for the World Health Organisation, which will be used to fund protective equipment for healthcare workers.
