A brand new Music and culture festival is about to take place in Brazil on the 5th of December 2023. 

Kaos Mc is breaking all the rules.  He is taking Favela Rap global and making a big impact in Brazil, he is doing this independently without an impresario one of the few artists in Brazil to do this.  He has built his business and name from the ground up over several years working with European producer Peter Doc B and now working with Stevie Eagle E of Shlepp Entertainment.  The year has seen Kaos Mc work with some of the biggest names in the music business when he released 'What's wrong' with Tito Jackson and Alex Boye.  Despite all of this and the temptations to leave the Favela behind Kaos Mc is determined to stay true to his roots, stay true to the Favela and continue on his mission to bring the positives from the Favela to the world vice versa with his name and organization The Lokos Da Favela Family.

EEDB (Stevie Eagle E and Peter Doc B) have reunited and are coming back with their first single release in over a decade.  The new single is called 'Drop and Gimme 20' and features Brazilian rising rap star Kaos Mc another Brazilian rapper Mr. Jack and introduces us to the beautiful Brazilian model and artist Quezia Brazil.  EEDB had a string of notable tracks in the late '90s and early Millenium and despite originally being a Rap act had more success in the UK dance charts and club charts with songs like 'Time' by The Flirtations, Dancefloor, and Boom Bang Bang by Leslie Loh.

To the kids in the Favela of Lauro de Freitas, Bahia Brazil Christmas came early and bigger than most would ever see as German producer Peter Doc B of EEDB (Eagle E and Doc) teamed up with International Brazilian Rap Star Kaos Mc, of the Lokos Da Favela Family movement and Shlepp Entertainment Ltd from the UK to put on a huge kids day celebration bash.  The event drew thousands of people and hundreds of kids, who had to be entertained, fed and given gifts as well as watching their favourite rap star Kaos Mc perform for them.

Duendy Primeiro and Maristela Muller were caught leaving Excelsior Radio station in Bahia.  The controversial artistic couples collaboration has raised eyebrows in Brazil for challenging cultural and racial stereotypes.

In a world where Narcissism has almost become the standard way of being and many charitable and philanthropic endeavours have become no more than virtue signalling or conscience relief people like Leslie Loh truly stand out for not just giving but for giving almost everything they have to others.  Chinese star Leslie Loh has practically given her life up to helping others. Now, as she tours the favelas of Brazil looking to expand her work and foundation in partnership with the FEELn festival, we take a closer look at what makes  Leslie Loh so unique when it comes to helping others.

On the face of it this is just another song and video release like thousands that get released every week.  The artists Duendy Primeiro and Maristela Muller have strong followings in Brazil, but they are not household names in Brazil or globally.  So why is their new collaboration and single 'Ela me encantou' so significant and groundbreaking?

A group of artists from around the world got together to create a song and video urging people to 'Love our planet'.  Mahdah Urf (Earth song revival) was born.  On the face of it there does not seem to be much new about something like this, but look a little closer and you begin to see the attraction of this song and video.  Not only is it a truly global collaboration featuring artists from Jamaica, USA, China, Sweden, Switzerland, Barbados and beyond.  It is also a reggae song.  Yep, a Reggae song lead by Reggae artists is taking centre stage on the environmental issue.

As the FEELn festival prepares for its inaugural event in Bahia, Brazil in December 2023 it is already holding many events worldwide to support Youth, Children and Communities in need. 

As the world struggles with coronavirus the mostly forgotten people of the Favela are left to fend for themselves.  The economic impact that is being felt worldwide is even more severe in the favelas.  There is very little help for the people here, very little government bailouts and employers and business can do almost what they like.  This led to an even bleaker easter for many of the kids in the favela.
