Joe Mannetti (Mr. International Daddy Bear 2009)
Joe Mannetti is a five-time Bear title holder including Mr. International Daddy Bear 2009. He was nominated for Best Leading Actor at the Fantastic Horror Film Festival held in San Diego, California in 2014 for his performance in the short horror/comedy film “Night of the Sea Monkey: A Disturbing Tale.”
He has also worked professionally as an HIV Testing Counselor and Mental Health Counselor. He was the recipient of the Justice-Love Award from the MCC Church in the Valley in North Hollywood, CA in 2010 as well as the Pride NY Award in New York and a Dorothy Award from the New Haven Pride Center in Connecticut in 2014. In 2018, he hosted and performed in a cabaret show with the Long Island Gay Men’s Chorus in New York. He has hosted and co-hosted several fundraising events in 2019 for nonprofit organizations serving diverse populations in New York City. These events include two for Iris House in Harlem and most recently one for Immigration Equality in August of 2019.
